Weird Circumstances

These two pieces of poured concrete block were measured last Friday morning and they were the same moisture content under the plaster setting.


As you can see-one piece of concrete is visibly wet and the other one looks dry.


Five days later, the figures go to maximum readings on both pieces at the plaster setting.


I tried them both at wood “shallow” using comparative scale.


They are both registering about the same again.


These types of readings are what you get when you do not use a proper concrete meter!!


So few restorers have concrete meters-time for the industry to get it together!
